Anatomy & Physiology
1st Period & 7th Period
This course will include a year-long program of intense human anatomy and physiology studies. The areas covered will include: medical terminology, basic chemistry, cell and tissue structure, and the 11 systems of the human body (integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, circulatory, lymphatic, digestive, respiratory, urinary and reproductive). The lab fee for this course is $20 and is due August 31st.
*There will be some topics presented in this area that may be considered sensitive. Students are expected to act maturely when covering such topics. Parents wishing to preview any of the information prior to that unit can do so by contacting the teacher.
